Application Privacy Policy
Effective June 1, 2026
Dorchester Road, LLC provides this Application Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, store, disclose, retain, and protect information when individuals use Dorchester Road applications, websites, and related services where Plaid Link or other financial-data features are deployed.
Depending on the features used, Dorchester Road may collect account registration information, authentication information, business profile information, support communications, device and usage information, and financial information made available through Plaid or other integrations authorized by the user.
When a user connects a financial account through Plaid, Dorchester Road may receive financial-account information such as account names, account types, account identifiers, balances, transaction data, institution information, and related account-linking information. Dorchester Road does not collect online banking credentials.
Dorchester Road uses application information to provide account connection, cash flow tracking, transaction organization, reconciliation, business finance insights, application security, support, troubleshooting, compliance, and service improvement. Financial data is used only to provide and improve the application features requested or authorized by the user.
Dorchester Road uses Plaid to securely connect financial accounts so the application can retrieve account, balance, and transaction data. This data is used for cash flow tracking, business activity organization, reconciliation, and finance insights inside the application.
Use of Plaid is subject to Plaid's own privacy and security practices. Users may be asked to review Plaid notices or permissions during account connection.
Dorchester Road may use authentication and identity providers, such as WorkOS, to manage sign-in, passkeys, multi-factor authentication, sessions, access control, and related security events. Dorchester Road does not send Plaid access tokens, bank account data, balances, transactions, or financial records to authentication providers as user metadata.
Dorchester Road does not sell consumer financial data or application user personal information. We may share information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, database operations, analytics, customer support, communications, and financial-data connectivity. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a business transaction.
Dorchester Road uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect application information. These safeguards include access controls, multi-factor authentication where supported, least-privilege access, encryption of Plaid consumer data at rest, secure handling of credentials and tokens, logging and monitoring, vulnerability management, and periodic access reviews.
Application information is stored only in approved systems used to provide, secure, support, and operate the application. Dorchester Road encrypts consumer data received from the Plaid API at rest, restricts access based on business need, and limits use of financial data to the application features authorized by the user.
Dorchester Road retains application information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application, comply with legal or contractual obligations, maintain security, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Users may request deletion of their information, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and operational retention requirements.
Users choose whether to connect financial accounts through Plaid. Users may disconnect financial accounts, request deletion, or contact Dorchester Road about privacy questions through the contact page. Some features may not function without account connection or required application data.
Depending on applicable law and the user's relationship with Dorchester Road, users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal information associated with their application account. Dorchester Road will review and respond to requests subject to identity verification, legal requirements, security obligations, fraud-prevention needs, backup limitations, and other permitted exceptions.
Dorchester Road applications are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Dorchester Road may update this Application Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
Privacy questions, requests, or concerns may be sent to Dorchester Road, LLC through the contact page.
